The Blue Ridge Ringers is a community handbell group in Henderson County, North Carolina, organized in September 1995. During the 90’s, interest in community handbell groups grew and some of our local ringers also dreamed of such a group. Two years of discussion and the appearance of the Raleigh Ringers at the Blue Ridge Area Handbell Festival in May 1995 added the final motivation. The first auditions were held at the First United Methodist Church in September 1995 and the first performance was at their Advent Concert Series in December 1995.
